Supplier Help

At the top-right of the screen, there is a search box that allows users to find specific part numbers. You can enter a partial part number and the results will be filtered by the entered value. You can click the Reset button to show all results.

There is a new column labeled "Total Due Today", which adds the values in the "Past Due Quantity", "Current Qty", "Week + 1 Qty", and "Week + 2 Qty" columns. This was created to simplify the total parts value required for immediate shipment. There is a note at the top of the page indicating this calculation.

If you go to the details for a particular part, there are two charts shown at the top of the screen. The first chart displays Sun's usage of this part, broken down by month. The second chart shows historical shipment data, including on time and late shipments. By having these metrics easily available for each supplier, we hope to increase on time delivery results.

There is a new button at the top of the screen labeled "Inventory". Sun suppliers are required to provide values of the current finished goods inventory in stock at their location. Users can edit the values manually by using the Edit and Delete controls on the grid. Sun also provides a method for uploading inventory via a FTP site, available on request.
